1. Do I have to be a QMSA member to enter a tournament

No, except for the State Titles. However QMSA members get discounted entry fee, so it is worth joining if you play regularly.

1. Is there an age requirement to play

Yes, for the State Titles the minimum age is 35. For all other QMSA sanctioned events, the minimum age is 30. There is no maximum age!!

2. How many matches will I get

There will be a minimum of 3 matches, unless otherwise specifically stated in the tournament details.

3. When will I get my first match time

First match times are emailed to all competitors the day before the tournament commences

4. How do I withdraw from a QMSA tournament

Please email the QMSA tournament director, email address is tournaments.qsma.asn.au explaining that you need to withdraw, proving your name and which tournament you are withdrawing from. Please note that for all tournaments except the State Titles, the entry closing is the Tuesday before, so notice of withdrawal prior to this would be appreciated if possible.

5. Can Interstate / Overseas Masters members play in QMSA tournaments

Yes, so long as they are a current financial member of their Masters organisation

6. Do Interstate / Overseas Masters receive the QMSA members tournament entry discount

Yes, so long as they are a current financial member of their Masters organisation, they can receive the QMSA members tournament entry discount
