Hervey Bay 2026

Welcome to the Queensland Masters Squash Association (QMSA) sanctioned tournament at Hervey Bay. This is one of the most eagerly awaited tournaments in our calendar. It is always a fun event, put together thoughtfully by Kathy for our members, and supported by our QMSA tournament team. Please see the poster for details including the Saturday Evening Dinner.

For the first time, there will also be a Friday Night Doubles event!

Format - Teams

• Teams of 3 or 4
• 4 Teams per division
• Guaranteed 3 matches
• 30 minute match length, consisting of:
  - 3 minute warm up
  - 3 x 8 minute games
  - 90 sec rest between games
• Entries may be limited to 88 participants
• Most will play 2 matches Saturday, 1 match Sunday - some will play 1 match Saturday, 2 matches Sunday
• Ages 30+ eligible to play
• Entrants without an existing QMSA rating will be given an approximation based on SportyHQ / SquashLevels rating
• First match times available Friday 23 January

Format - Doubles

• 3 Teams per division
• Guaranteed 2 matches
• 30 minute match length, consisting of:
  - 3 minute warm up
  - 3 x 8 minute games
  - 90 sec rest between games
• All participants must wear squash eyewear
• Ages 30+ eligible to play
• Entrants without an existing QMSA rating will be given an approximation based on SportyHQ / SquashLevels rating
• First match times available Thursday 22 January
